The history of our company holds ancient origins and noble traditions, such as those of the founder Franzo Caruso, who decided to bring his ideals to life back in 1951 by opening a small workshop in Rome for the production of fruit syrups, liqueurs and infusions.
The clever use of medicinal plants, fruits and roots, carefully selected and preserved after years of careful studies, made each product exclusive, with unique characteristics. By his side, his beloved wife Elvira had an essential role in the pursuit of such ambitions, supporting Franzo and his pioneering spirit day after day.
Their son Corrado, equipped with great spirit of initiative and marked entrepreneurial skills, sealed their eternal promise in 1970s. He decided to carry on his father's dream by combining the gained experience over the years with the most advanced production technologies, so he founded the current factory in the green hills of Castelli Romani. Driven by good and well-respected principles, Corrado succeeded in creating a solid presence in the national market, establishing the company in GD-OD-HO.RE.CA. This presence has been enhanced over the years by an indispensable international configuration, which makes it nowadays a unique reality, defined by deep roots and long-sighted projects.
The company is currently managed by the third and fourth generations, who have inherited a complex yet solid role, with deep-rooted traditions and future perspectives.
